Transforming Privilege LLC is a woman-owned company dedicated to providing resources and spaces for those learning about their own privilege, white supremacy and racism. We are committed to using that knowledge to do the necessary work in our lives to dismantle structures both institutional and personal in order to end systemic racism and othering of all kinds. Ending racism also requires the end of sexism, xenophobia, anti-semitism, homophobia, transphobia, ageism, and ableism. The path to our humanity is to see it in others. We recognize the violence of racism in all its forms and strive to open our minds to our own history and do better.
This is a diverse and inclusive community and one that rejects othering of all types. We strive to amplify the voices of BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and people of color) and are creating a space where experts from many fields of study (social work, psychology, sociology, medicine, art, technology, history and more) can share their perspectives with those on the life-long journey of becoming actively anti-racist.
We're on this path together and we welcome all who are committed to a more just and equitable world for everyone. We are building community through radical self-examination, deep understanding and connection.

Wendy started her anti-racism journey in 2018 after a string of school and mass shootings in the United States. As she learned more about the history of racism in the United States she discovered that her previous decade of studying and integrating learnings about relationship, intimacy, vulnerability and trust was preparing her to tackle the most important issue facing the United States: racism and white supremacy. "While anti-racism work isn't personal development work, we have to do personal development work to be actively anti-racist".
She invited friends and acquaintances to join her on her anti-racism journey. That initial group has turned into several groups and the friends have invited friends of their own, resulting in an ever-expanding community of people with a common goal. She is committed to being a lifelong student and supporting others in their active anti-racism journey.
Wendy has a BA in Psychology from Occidental College in Los Angeles, CA and is a business management consultant living in Seattle.

Angelina F. Gómez, MA is a holistic clinical scientist & abolitionist educator who specializes in compassion-based psychotherapeutic and community interventions for attachment & intergenerational trauma.
Using a self-directed combination of modern and indigenous healing methods, Angelina has learned how to thrive with severe mental illness and trauma. As a white Indigenous Mexican-American who continually engages with her own racial healing, she aims to share and research her found healing path, in order to help others find their own paths to fulfillment, health, and collective freedom from white supremacy.
While completing her PhD in clinical psychology, Angelina founded North Node Organization whose mission is to help end racism by leading non-Black individuals and communities through a ruthlessly compassionate process of dismantling internalized white supremacy. Angelina developed a model of allyship healing and is leading Emobidied Antiracist Allyship workshops and courses in partnership with the Racial Trauma Center at Genesee Valley Psychology.
To feed her soul, Angelina loves to read, do yoga, crochet, journal, make art, listen to music, play with animals/humans, have deep thoughts/talks, and be in nature.
